Daily ceramic inspection knowledge

Daily ceramic

Ceramics are materials and various products made from clay as the main raw material and various natural minerals through crushing, mixing, shaping and calcining. People call items made of clay and fired at high temperatures in special kilns called ceramics. Ceramics is the general term for pottery and porcelain. The traditional concept of ceramics refers to all artificial industrial products using inorganic non-metallic minerals such as clay as raw materials.

The main ceramic production areas are Jingdezhen, Gao'an, Fengcheng, Pingxiang, Foshan, Chaozhou, Dehua, Liling, Zibo and other places.

Packaging requirements:

(1) The cartons and packaging are clean, tidy, safe, and the packaging strength meets the requirements for sea, land and air transportation;

(2) The contents of the outer carton mark and the small box mark are clear and accurate and meet the packaging requirements;

(3) The product inner box label and product physical label are clean and clear, and the content is accurate;

(4) The marks and labels are consistent with the actual objects, the quantities are accurate, and no mixing is allowed;

(5) The LOGO is clearly visible and has a standardized form.

Visual quality inspection standards:

(1) The porcelain is delicate, the glaze is moist, and the translucency is good;

(2) The product should be placed smoothly on a flat surface, and the cover of covered products should fit in with the mouth;

(3) The lid of the pot is not allowed to fall off when the pot is tilted 70°. When the lid moves in one direction, the distance between its edge and the spout must not exceed 3mm and the mouth of the spout must not be lower than 3mm;

(4) The glaze color and picture color of the complete set of products should be basically consistent, and the specifications and sizes of the same product should be commensurate;

(5) Each product must not have more than four defects, and they must not be dense;

(6) There is no problem of glaze cracking on the surface of the product, and products with glaze cracking effects are not included.

Test quality inspection standards:

(1) The content of tricalcium phosphate in the product is not less than 30%;

(2) Water absorption rate does not exceed 3%;

(3) Thermal stability: It will not crack after being put into 20℃ water at 140℃ for heat exchange;

(4) The dissolution amounts of lead and cadmium on the contact surface between any single product and food should comply with the regulations;

(5) Caliber error: If the caliber is greater than or equal to 60mm, the allowable error is +1.5%~-1.0%, and if the caliber is less than 60mm, the allowable error is plus or minus 2.0%;

(6) Weight error: +3% for type I products and +5% for type II products.

Remark test

1. The rationality of the packaging, whether it is transported, and whether it is tested by dropping the box

2. Is it necessary to do a water absorption test? Some factories do not support this test.

3. Aging test, that is, discoloration due to ultraviolet rays and exposure to the sun

4. Flaw detection, if necessary, check whether there are hidden flaws

5. Simulate usage test. What is it used for, and where is it used specifically? Do the test based on this.

6. Destructive testing, or abuse testing, this requires the factory to be informed in advance of how it needs to be tested. The products are different and the testing methods are weird. Generally, static load is used.

7. Painting, printing alcohol test, boiling water test, mainly fastness test.

8. It is rare to encounter whether there are certain taboos in the exporting country, and whether the patterns or random patterns drawn by workers coincidentally form the taboo patterns.Such as one-eyed, skull, cuneiform writing

9. Fully enclosed explosion test, sealed bag sealed product, exposure test.Check the moisture content of the bag, test the fastness of the drawing paper, and the dryness of the product before leaving the factory
