TP TC 012 (Explosion-Proof Approval)

TP TC 012 is the regulations of the Russian Federation for explosion-proof products, also called TRCU 012. It is the mandatory CU-TR certification (EAC certification) regulations that are required for explosion-proof products to be exported to Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other customs union countries. October 18, 2011 No. 825 Resolution TP TC 012/2011 “Safety of Explosion-Proof Equipment” The technical regulation of the Customs Union has come into effect since February 15, 2013. All explosion-proof products have passed this regulation and correctly affixed the EAC logo and explosion-proof Ex Only after the identification can successfully enter the Russian Federation Customs Union market.

Equipment used in explosive environments and explosion-proof products or explosion-proof components exported to the member states of the Customs Union must meet the requirements of this technical regulation and obtain the CU-TR certification of the Customs Union (ie, EAC-EX explosion-proof certificate). Regulation TP TC 012 applies to electrical explosion-proof products, as well as non-electrical products operating in explosion-proof environments.

TP TC 012 regulations do not apply to: 1. Equipment for medical use 2. Equipment whose explosion hazard is derived from explosive substances and unstable chemical reactions during equipment operation. 3. The equipment is used for daily rather than industrial use, and the hazardous environment is the leakage of flammable gas. The device is not explosion proof. 4. Personal protective equipment 5. Sea-going vessels, inland and river-sea mixed vessels, mobile offshore platforms and deep-well drilling platforms, equipment floating on the water, and even machinery and equipment used on this equipment. 6.
