1、Humidifier Inspection - Appearance and Workmanship Requirements

The main components should be made of materials that are safe, harmless, odorless, and do not cause secondary pollution, and should be sturdy and durable.
The surface of the equipment should be flat and smooth, with uniform color and aging resistance, and there should be no defects such as cracks, bubbles, shrinkage holes, etc.

3、Humidifier Inspection - Special Requirements

Normal working inspection

According to the instructions for use, inject the maximum amount of water into the humidifier. Unless the humidifier is connected to the water supply pipeline and the addition of water is automatically controlled.

Moisture resistance test

Add: If there is any doubt, the overflow test should be conducted under the condition that the angle of deviation from the normal use position of the instrument should not exceed 5 °. The equipment intended to be directly connected to the water source should run until it reaches the highest water level. Keep the inlet valve open and continue to inject water for another 15 minutes after the first sign of overflow, or until other devices automatically stop injecting water.

Structural inspection

-Addition: The diameter of the drainage hole should be at least 5mm, or the minimum size should be 3mm, and the cross-sectional area should be at least 20mm * to determine whether it is qualified through measurement.
-Modification: If the liquid is heated with electrodes, it can come into direct contact with live parts. The steam outlet equipped with a heating water device should be able to avoid blockages that may cause a significant increase in pressure inside the container. The water tank should be connected to the atmosphere through a hole with an opening diameter of at least 5mm or a minimum size of 3mm and a cross-sectional area of at least 20mm. The qualification should be determined through visual inspection and measurement.
-The humidifier installed on the wall should be fixed to the wall through reliable measures independent of the water source connection. Determine compliance through visual inspection.
-The structure of the electrode humidifier should ensure that when the water inlet of the water tank is opened, the two electrodes are disconnected to provide full pole disconnection under overvoltage category III. Determine compliance through visual inspection.
-The equipment intended to be connected to the water source should be able to withstand the water pressure required for normal use. By connecting the instrument to a water source with a water pressure equal to twice the maximum inlet water pressure or 1.2 MPa. Take the higher of the two and undergo a 5-minute test to determine whether it is qualified.

4、 Humidifier Inspection - Technical Requirements
-Humidification test: The measured humidification amount should not be less than 90% of the rated humidification amount.
-Humidification efficiency test: The humidification efficiency of the humidifier should not be lower than level D. The humidification efficiency is divided into four levels from high to low: A, B, C, and D. The specific indicators are shown in Table 1.

-Noise inspection: The A-weighted sound power level noise of the humidifier should meet the requirements of Table 2. The allowable deviation between the measured value and the indicated value should not exceed+3dB, and the maximum should not exceed the limit value.

-Water softener and water level protection function: The hardness of softened water in the water softener should not exceed 0.7mmol/L (Ca:+/Mg+); When the hardness of the softened water in the water softener is greater than 50% of the initial value, the cumulative softened water volume should not be less than 100L; The pH value of softened water should be within the range of 6.5 to 8.5; The equipment should have a water level protection function and a water shortage warning function.
-Durability: The durability should not be lower than level D in Table 3. Durability is divided into four levels from high to low: A, B, C, and D. Specific indicators are shown in Table 3

-Requirements for leakage inspection of the entire machine: During operation, there should be no leakage in the equipment
-Antibacterial and anti mold testing requirements: Materials declared to have antibacterial and anti mold functions should meet the requirements of Table 4
