Towel inspection requirements:

I. Internal quality inspection

1. Determination of weight deviation rate

2. Determination of breaking strength

3. Determination of water absorption

4. Determination of hair removal rate

5. Determination of fiber content

6. Determination of color fastness to soap washing

7. Determination of color fastness to rubbing

8. Determination of color fastness to chlorine bleaching

9. Determination of water extract in samples

II. Appearance quality inspection

1. Determination of specification size deviation rate

2. Inspection of defects, sewing quality and ironing quality

3. Evaluation of color difference and color flower

4. Towel defect regulations:

a) Linear defects: Weaving defects with a thickness of one yarn or less and a length of ≥1cm. One defect is counted as one defect every 3cm or less, and the cumulative calculation of defects exceeding 3cm shall not exceed 6cm in length

b) Strip defects: Weaving defects with a thickness of two yarns or less and a length of ≥0.5cm. Each defect within 1.5cm is counted as one defect. If it exceeds 1.5cm, it will be calculated cumulatively. The length of one defect shall not exceed 4.5cm.

c) Block defects: hair removal, exposed bottom, trapezoidal hair

d) Scattered defects: including reverse hair on plain cloth, reverse hair ring, incomplete cutting of pile, unrotated spiral, uneven hair ring, etc.

e) Printing and dyeing defects: including brushing, plate dragging, color withering, color bleeding, wrong color, inaccurate plate registration, plate drop, reverse printing, incorrect flower position, color matching, etc.

f) Damage defects: 3 or more yarns are broken in the warp and weft
